Joshua Preston

Mr. Preston is an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Engineering with a Pre-Medical breath focus and a Research/Design depth focus. Mr. Preston worked on an organic dye sensitized solar cell project at the University of West Georgia from January 2016 to May 2017 and started work with the NEST lab in January 2019. He now works on the rectenna project; preparing devices, testing new materials, and performing IV characterization on assembled devices. Moving forward, Mr. Preston hopes to better understand how material choices influence the final performance of rectenna devices. Outside of the lab, Mr. Preston is involved in the BCM on campus, enjoys hiking, cooking, and photography.
